Warnings: Post 6.0, spoilers
Summary: The twins give Eon a bit of a wake-up call
Notes: Just cute silliness
“Eon! Eon, my friend, are you awake?”
Alphinaud knocked softly against the door one more time and then turned to his sister with a shrug. Alisaie frowned and then tried herself, pounding against the wood with her fist.
“Eon! Wake up!”
“Alisaie, don't be so lo--”
His sister grinned in a way that made his stomach sink, and then before he could stop her she swung the door open with a loud bang. It bounced off the wall and started to swing shut before she pushed her way inside the room, an embarrassed Alphinaud in tow.
Their friend remained curled up on his bed, a lump buried under a pile of blankets, with only the tips of his ears visible.
“I knew he disliked the cold, but this is excessive,” Alphinaud said softly, and beside him his sister cracked her knuckles loudly. “Alisaie, what are you thinking?”
“He'll thank us later, don't worry. I'm sure our good friend wouldn't want us to let him sleep the day away.”
Before Alphinaud could argue either way, his sister was already beside the bed with a look on her face he knew too well from being on the wrong end of her temper. With a flourish, she grabbed the pile of blankets and *heaved* the entire lot onto the floor, only to freeze halfway through the motion.
“Oh.”
“Sister, what--” Alphinaud very quickly pulled her away, a hand over her eyes as his face burned.
“What the hells??” Eon sat up with a snarl, naked as the day he was born and looking around confused until his eyes fell on the twins. “Did something happen? Are we under attack?” He jumped off the bed, hackles raised, only for Alphinaud to wave his hands in what he hoped wasn't obvious distress.
“N-no, my friend! We just thought you wouldn't want to sleep all day, and Alisaie took it, uh, upon herself to try to wake you.” He glanced at their friend before looking away again as he began pushing his sister out of the room.
“Oi, Alphinaud, I can walk myself!”
“We'll leave you be! We'll be just outside!”
“Alphinaud, let me go! I am perfectly capable--!”
The door slammed shut behind them, leaving a very confused and cold Miqo'te staring at their backs.
